- i'm glad Tara finally responded to my last entry so i know that someone from home reads this! jeez.
today, i:
- felt annoyed that people sometimes treat me like a doll. "look at Charlotte. she's so CUTE! let's hug her and pinch her cheeks and mess up her hair." hearing you're "cute" is a compliment - for a while - but after you hear it too much, it's just demeaning.
- went down to the BFEC and served the community for 4 hours (read: 1 hour) with Matt and Chris. we walked up and down the trails and clipped overgrown thorny branches and complained about Kenyon. we decided we all like Kenyon, but it can be "too much." and there are way too many stupid people here. (we're all smart people, of course).
- went to a livestock auction for my farming class. the auction didn't actually happen, so we wandered around the pens and looked at pigs and cattle and goats. i saw the most massive bull i have ever seen. it was indescribable.
- afterward, i took a shower in Watson. now the way the showers are set up, you can see everyone's feet, because the dividers only go down to about knee level. i leaned down to pick up my shampoo and lo and behold, there are TWO sets of feet in the far shower! Shannon and Tucker were showering together. CREEPY. i finished really fast.
- i had my last issue of the Collegian as editor-in-chief and the last issue ever in the tower because they are kicking us out next year to renovate Peirce. i am actually really sad about this. but i won't think about it too much.
- came back to my room to find my roommate and her kind-of boyfriend awkwardly shuffling around on the bed in a way that indicated they were trying to sit up and look presentable as i came in. how come she gets to have 2 boyfriends?! (she really is almost dating 2 people at the same time and they don't care). now really. some girls have all the luck. and the unluck :)

Or, alternately, the name for what I'm currently doing with my life (comic drumbeat here).
When I come back to Gambier, we should go to a livestock auction, that sounds amazing.
